The 3-rd series of Ukrainian phonecards was issued by firm UTEL in 1996. Series contain 3 cards - 50 units, 100 units and 200 units. The cards depicts different Ukrainian regions - Carpathians (West Ukraine), Kiev (Central Ukraine) and Crimea (South Ukraine). In 1997 UTEL was issued the series of 3 cards devoted national handcrafts. |

| The first phonecards on Ukrainian territory (Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic in the USSR) were issued in 1989 in Yalta (Crimea Republic). 2 cards (20 roubles and 50 roubles cost) are used in payphones which placed in hotels "Yalta-Inturist" and "Oreadna-Inturist". These cards are very rare now. |
